Suspicious Aviation Tragedies — October 6 1976 : Cubana de Aviacion Flight 455 [UPDATE : Luis Posada Carriles is Dead (February 15, 1928 – May 23, 2018)]

“Luis Posada Carriles  died without having paid for this crime nor the many other terrorist acts that are a feature of his criminal record.”

Cuban government website Cubadebate — May 23 2018

“A15 — CIA code name for Posada — is not a typical kind of ‘boom and bang’ individual. He is acutely aware of the international implications of ill-planned or overly enthusiastic activities against Cuba.”

Former CIA handler Grover Lythcott

“Our confidential source ascertained (…) that the bombing of the Cubana Airlines DC-8 was planned, in part, in Caracas, Venezuela, at two meetings attended by Morales Navarrete, Luis Posada Carriles and Frank Castro.”

“A confidential source all but admitted that Posada and [Orlando] Bosch had engineered the bombing of the airline.”

FBI Declassified reports

Luis Clemente Faustino Posada Carriles (born February 15, 1928) — nicknamed Bambi — is a Cuban exile militant and former Central Intelligence Agency agent. Carriles is considered a terrorist by the Government of Cuba, among others; he is widely considered responsible for the bombing of Cubana flight 455, which killed 73 people. He was a long-time member of the Coordination of United Revolutionary Organizations described by the FBI as “an anti-Castro terrorist umbrella organization”.

Cubana de Aviación Flight 455 was a Cuban flight from Barbados to Jamaica that was brought down on 6 October 1976 by a terrorist bomb attack. All 73 people on board the Douglas DC-8 aircraft were killed. Several CIA-linked anti-Castro Cuban exiles and members of the Venezuelan secret police DISIP were implicated by the evidence. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Salisbury Incident — Making Novichok… For the Final Exam

“After studying the movements of the Skripals after being poisoned, we have now revised our understanding, and we now believe that one of its primary effects is to generate in its victims a strong desire to go out for a beer followed by a pizza.”

What will be the blowback for UK government after Libya revelations? by Mark Curtis [Manchester Bombing – May 22 2017]

“When Theresa May was home secretary in 2011, did she know about or authorise the despatch of Libyans living in the UK to Libya, and were Salman or Ramadan Abedi specifically part of this process? If she did not, what were security services, who reported to her and then foreign secretary William Hague, therefore up to? Did either the LIFG or the 17 February Martyrs Brigade receive either direct or indirect UK assistance to fight in Libya at this time? Why were the Abedis allowed to return back to the UK after fighting in Libya with no questions asked? ”

Mark Curtis — Historian and analyst of UK foreign policy

Salman and Ramadan Abedi

The revelation that the British government likely had contacts with the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) and the 17 February Martyrs Brigade during the 2011 war in Libya – groups for which the 2017 Manchester bomber and his father reportedly fought at that time – raises fundamental questions about the UK’s links to terrorism. Indeed, a strong case can be made for a devastating conclusion: that the UK is itself a de facto part of the terrorist infrastructure that poses a threat to the British public. Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading

Wikipedia & the Spooks — The Remake? [The Philip Cross Affair]

“This story is demented and broken on so many levels, it is quite difficult to know where to begin, even. Here we have an excellent Wikipedia administrator [‘SlimVirgin’ aka Linda Mack] who has been victimized by lunatic conspiracy theorists, a private person who has absolutely no relation to the wild stories that this article promulgates. Slashdot, you have been trolled.”

Jimmy Wales — Wikipedia co-founder (July 26 2007)

“I cannot confirm that the traffic you cite came from agency computers.”

CIA Spokesperson (15/08/2007)

“The strange thing about this story is that this was proven to be true. And there was no denying it. Then later on, a few people started to deny it and claim that it was merely a rumor. Wikipedia has no excuse to hide this.”

Anonymous [Wikipedia user Blissyu2]

“Participants in the discussion were able to prove from the records of Wikipedia that certain administrators, contrary to their own rules, had completely removed editing evidence. Jimmy Wales had to admit that yes, this is sometimes done.”

Computerra Magazine

Someone going by the name “Philip Cross”  has not had one single day off from editing Wikipedia in almost five years. According to former UK ambassador Craig Murray, “Philip Cross” has edited every single day from 29 August 2013 to 14 May 2018. Including five Christmas Days. That’s 1,721 consecutive days of editing. 133,612 edits to Wikipedia have been made in the name of “Philip Cross” over 14 years!

I trust that Craig Murray, George Galloway and others will identify the person or, as it is more likely, the organization that hides beyond that name. In this post, I will just offer them a few words of advice. Indeed, I played a key role in a similar story 10 years ago.

In July 2007, I concluded that a person — using the ‘SlimVirgin’ pseudonym — was editing sensitive information on Wikipedia. ‘SlimVirgin’ real name was Linda Mack, a person who had been strongly suspected of being an agent or an informant of a Western Intelligence Agency.

Two weeks later, I provided incontrovertible evidence that several Intel Agencies, including the CIA, had indeed edited ‘Intelligence related’ information on Wikipedia.

In an interview with George Galloway (Watch video at the end of this post), journalist Neil Clark explains that ‘SlimVirgin’ is back and teaming up with ‘Philip Cross’. That is subtle or what? Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

THIS DAY IN HISTORY — “NYT Admits Lockerbie Case Flaws” (May 21 2012)

“The enigmatic Mr Megrahi had been the central figure of the [lockerbie] case for decades, reviled as a terrorist but defended by many Libyans, and even some world leaders, as a victim of injustice whose trial, 12 years after the bombing, had been riddled with political overtones, memory gaps and flawed evidence.”

New York Times — May 21 2012

“After writing about the “ravers” who regularly turn up at lectures to claim that President Bush/the CIA/the Pentagon/Mossad etc perpetrated the crimes against humanity of 11 September, I received a letter this week from Marion Irvine, who feared that members of her family run the risk of being just such ‘ravers’ and ‘voices heard in the wilderness’. Far from it. For Mrs Irvine was writing about Lockerbie, and, like her, I believe there are many dark and sinister corners to this atrocity. I urge anyone who is aware of government lies over Flight 103 to come forward.”

Robert Fisk — British Journalist

Abdelbaset al-Megrahi — the only person ever convicted for the Lockerbie bombing — died on May 20 2012. His New York Times’ obituary was a bit of a surprise as the US Newspaper admitted — for the first time ever —  that the case against him was riddled with errors and false testimony. UK — MI5 Agents Allowed To Carry Out Criminal Activity

“After a seven-month legal battle the prime minister has finally been forced to publish her secret order but we are a long way from having transparency. The public and parliament are still being denied the guidance that says when British spies can commit criminal offences and how far they can go. Authorised criminality is the most intrusive power a state can wield. Theresa May must publish this guidance without delay.”

Maya Foa — Director of the human rights group Reprieve

“If you report a crime that happened within the organisation, then the whistle-blower is the one accountable and not the person who committed the crime.”

Annie Machon — Former MI5 Officer

Patrick Finucane, commonly known as Pat Finucane, was an Irish human rights lawyer killed by loyalist paramilitaries acting in collusion with the British government intelligence service MI5.

Earlier this year, Theresa May has been forced to publish a document regarding the participation of MI5 agents in criminal activity inside the UK. Follow us on twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading
