What they say about us

“For centuries, writers have experimented with forms that evoke the imperfection of thought, the inconstancy of human affairs, and the chastening passage of time. But as blogging evolves as a literary form, it is generating a new and quintessentially postmodern idiom that’s enabling writers to express themselves in ways that have never been seen or understood before. Its truths are provisional, and its ethos collective and messy. Yet the interaction it enables between writer and reader is unprecedented, visceral, and sometimes brutal. And make no mistake: it heralds a golden era for journalism.”

Andrew Sullivan (November 2008)

Blog — Conflation of two words: Web and log. It contains in its four letters a concise and accurate self-description: it is a log of thoughts and writing posted publicly on the Worldwide Web.

On this blog, the readers and I investigate the stories together. The readers are my friends, my sources, my experts, my fact-checkers and my editors.

Who are they?

Well, they — 60% males / 40 % females — are from all over the world. As a result, they bring different cultures, education and background; and thus bring unique point of views.

But, for all their differences, they share one common belief:

“TRUTH MATTERS.”

On this page, I will introduce some of our followers and post some of their thoughts about OUR blog. Thank you all!

Regards, Dr Ludwig De Braeckeleer

Robert Black QC FRSE

Robert Black is now Professor Emeritus of Scots Law in the University of Edinburgh. He has been a member of the Scottish Bar since 1972 and a QC since 1987. He has taken a close interest in the Lockerbie affair since 1993, not least because he was born and brought up in the town, and has published a substantial number of articles on the topic in the United Kingdom and overseas. He is often referred to as the architect of the Lockerbie trial at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands. [Lockerbie Case]

“Since the time of his magisterial series of 174 articles on Lockerbie published in 2008 in Ohmy News International, Dr Ludwig De Braeckeleer has been widely and correctly recognised as one of the world’s leading, and most reliable, experts on the Pan Am 103 disaster.

No-one can legitimately claim a serious interest in the case without acknowledging his ground-breaking research, which has continued over the years since 2008, with its fruits appearing in various media and currently on his Intel Today website, an indispensable resource on the Lockerbie case (and on events in the world of intelligence more generally).”

Shehanne Moore — Author

Shehanne Moore lives in Scotland, with her husband Mr Shey. She has two daughters.  When not writing dark and smexy intriguing historical romance, where goals and desires of sassy, unconventional heroines and ruthless men, mean worlds collide, she plays the odd musical instrument and loves what in any other country, would not be defined, as hill-walking. [Shehanne Moore]

“This blog can indeed be summed up in two words. ‘Truth matters.’ It matters more than ever in a world of fake news, half truths and lies. Intel Today is a chaser of the truth, tirelessly remembering people worldwide, questioning past events, shedding light on forgotten events, and as if that wasn’t enough, extending the hand of friendship to all. Easy to read and very accessible, truth isn’t the only thing that matters. Intel matters.”

Sixten Svensson — Former Swedish Journalist

During his professional life, Sixten Svensson has worked for Swedish newspapers, magazines and TV.  In 1978, he became news editor for SVT, and later editor of Allers.

His production company has created many popular programs. Svensson is the brother-in-law of Boris Hagelin, the founder of CRYPTO-AG. He wrote a wonderful book [in Swedish] titled: “The Boris Project”.

Swedish journalist Sixten Svensson

“Ludwig var den som hittade kopplingen mellan Crypto AG och NSA. Jag har under alla år av forskning kring detta läst gosint och varit i kontakt med honom. En värdefull källa!”

“Ludwig is the person who discovered the connection between Crypto AG and the NSA. During all my years of research on this affair, I have followed his investigation and I have stayed in contact with him. A valuable source!”

George Thomson LLM BA (Hons) — Criminal Defence Investigation Consultant

George Thomson is a former Scottish police officer who worked as an investigator with Abdelbaset al-Megrahi’s legal team preparing the appeal against his Lockerbie bombing conviction.

During his investigations, George Thomson discovered some potentially crucial anomalies in the evidence concerning the clothing that was supposedly sold by Tony Gauci and packed into the primary suitcase along with the bomb.

In the early stages of my involvement with the Lockerbie case the name Doctor Ludwig De Braeckeleer kept cropping up on the perimeters of the investigation.

I remember keeping reminding myself that I should be talking to this guy.

I now have to make an admission and that is “had I approached him much earlier than I did then Baset’s conviction may have been overturned many years ago.

Ludwig is a lovely guy, easy to get on with and he and I have shared many a beer in Brussels where we often discussed the case into the early hours of the morning since I first tentatively approached him.

I remember meeting up with him in Brussels over a weekend many years ago and before the weekend was over I was so happy with his knowledge and analysis of the case that I arranged for him to take possession of the 98 Gigabyte file of the case which Megrahi had entrusted to me to do as I wished, to prove his innocence.

Ludwig has the unique ability to analyse complicated evidential and scientific materials and produce a report in terms which make the ramification of the content abundantly clear to a layman (like me).

In collaboration with a film documentary company I am involved in an analysis of a crucial part of scientific examination of evidence which convicted Mr. Megrahi.

This new evidence will not only prove his innocence, but will show that the case against him was deliberately fabricated.

During the Police Scotland Operation Sandwood Investigation we handed them a dossier of this new scientific evidence to do with as they wished.

“They did nothing”, but I know a man who will.

Dr Herbert ‘Jim’ Swire

Dr. Jim Swire is an English engineer [electronics] as well as a medical doctor. Dr Swire is best known for his involvement in the aftermath of the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, in which his daughter Flora was killed.

“INTEL TODAY, in its relentless publishing on line of so many truths about the (Lockerbie) atrocity, has recently identified two men and one woman (solicitor Gareth Pierce) who all gave enormous support in the search for TRUTH.

Professor Robert Black of Edinburgh in whose shadow I was grateful to stand to help pursue the agreement of the late Colonel Gaddafi to allow his citizens to be tried in a Western court, and then George Thomson, indefatigable investigator that he is.

There are so many others that their friendship and support are a major part of the ability to persevere; we are fortunate indeed to have found so many friends.

Love of truth seems to attract the most loveable.”

“The work of younger people and groups such as INTEL TODAY with its tapping of objective professional expertise carries the responsibility of revealing the truth. For example, search their brilliant coverage of PT/35(b) !”

Reverend John Mosey

The Rev’d John Mosey is married to Lisa, a German subject and they have one son, Marcus. Their nineteen-year-old daughter, Helga, was murdered when Pan-Am Flight 103 was blown up by a terrorist bomb over the Scottish town of Lockerbie on the 21st December 1988.

He is an international speaker and lecturer on “responsibility, blame and forgiveness” and theological subjects. He and Dr. Swire are the only two relatives who attended the whole of the trial at Zeist in the Netherlands and both of the following appeals. He has been keenly involved in the search for the truth concerning “Lockerbie” and is currently the coordinator for UK Families Flight 103, the support group for the British victims families.

“Since Dr. Ludwig De Braeckeleer’s articles began to appear in 2008 I have felt so supported in my quest for the truth about my daughter’s death.

It is most encouraging to have someone with his background and experience standing up fearlessly and, with legal, political and scientific insight, supporting conclusions that we had come to by simply observing but had little solid evidence or proof.

He has helped to establish and give authority to those feelings that ‘something is going on here that isn’t quite right.’

His efforts will play a big part in our acquiring an answer to the primary question: Why were our people allowed to be murdered?”

Dr. Frederic “Fred” Whitehurst

Dr. Frederic “Fred” Whitehurst is an American chemist and attorney who served as a Supervisory Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation Laboratory from 1986 to 1998.

Dr. Whitehurst uncovered and reported scientific misconduct which forced the FBI crime lab to agree to forty major reforms, including undergoing an accreditation process.

As a result, Thomas Thurman was reassigned outside the FBI crime laboratory. Dr. Whitehurst has never accepted the evidence discovered by Thomas Thurman linking Lockerbie to Libya.

“We crave truth. We cannot function without it. And when our eyes are opened to truth we shade our faces in fear of the blindness that comes along…when we finally know reality.

Truth does not taste well to the faint of heart. But Dr Ludwig De Braeckeleer (Intel Today) keeps on telling it as will I.”
