Who Killed Pierre Goldman? And Why? (June 22, 1944 – Assassinated September 20, 1979)

“In my crib were hidden tracts and arms.”

Pierre Goldman — Dim memories of a Polish Jew Born in France

“Marseille boys members of GAL killed him with Maïone, who also talked about a commandant, former member of the SDECE [French secret service], without revealing me his identity.”

Serge July — French journalist

Pierre Goldman (June 22, 1944 – Assassinated September 20, 1979)

Who killed Goldman? Of course, I am not talking about the French singer — Jean-Jacques — who is one of the most loved personalities in France. I am talking about his brother Pierre, a French left-wing intellectual who was convicted of several robberies and mysteriously assassinated on September 20 1979. The case has never been solved. By the way, although Jean-Jacques never spoke about his brother, many believe that the song “Puisque tu pars” is about Pierre. I left a couple of messages for JJ Goldman knowing full well that he would not reply. I hope that he will speak about his brother one day, but not too late. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

On This Day — Key Lockerbie Witness Admits Perjury (September 15 2007)

“Hans Köchler, a United Nations observer, called the trial ‘a spectacular miscarriage of justice,’ words echoed by Mr. Mandela. Many legal experts and investigative journalists challenged the evidence, calling Mr. Megrahi a scapegoat for a Libyan government long identified with terrorism.”

New York Times — May 20 2012

“I regard the Lockerbie verdict against Megrahi as a ‘Grand Monument to Human Stupidity’.  Indeed, the written opinion of the Lockerbie judges is a remarkable document that claims an ‘honoured place in the history of British miscarriages of justice.’ If the [SCCRC] Commission accepts the application for a full review, the infamous Zeist verdict doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of surviving.”

INTEL TODAY — July 5 2017

South Africa Nelson Mandela visiting Megrahi — aka the ‘Lockerbie bomber’ — in prison. Many thanks to my friend John Ashston who took the picture

A recent tweet from Professor Black — AKA the Lockerbie trial Architect — reminded me that I had posted my first report on the Lockerbie scandal this week a decade ago. The story was not well written and many parts need improvements and corrections. But my heart was at the right place and, with whatever brain I had left,  I kept on investigating this extraordinary scandal in modern history. After countless interviews of high-ranking officials — including two heads of State — I believe more than ever that the Lockerbie verdict against Megrahi is a ‘Grand Monument to Human Stupidity’. On This Day — Remembering UTA Flight 772 (September 19 1989)

“It is striking to note the similarity of the ‘scientific’ evidence discovered by the FBI’s Tom Thurman in both the Lockerbie and UTA cases. Of the tens of thousands of pieces of debris collected at each disaster site, one lone piece of printed circuit was found and, miracle of miracles, in each case the fragment bore markings that allowed for positive identification: MEBO in the Lockerbie case and TY in the case of UTA Flight 772. Despite the common findings of the DCPJ, the DST and the Prefecture of Police crime laboratory, Judge Bruguière chose to believe Thurman, the expert in fabricating evidence.”

Pierre Péan — African Manipulations

“This is — of course — US/UK pure propaganda. Libya has nothing to do with Lockerbie whatsoever! Only an imbecile would buy this utter nonsense. Imbeciles… And US lawyers, of course! But I repeat myself.”

Intel Today (September 19 2017)

It has been called the greatest murder investigation in French history. When a suitcase bomb destroyed French Airlines UTA Flight 772, killing all 170 passengers and crew on board, it triggered a decade long search for accountability. Where are the French journalists? Have you all given up on finding the truth? For God sake, wake up and do your job! Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

One Year Ago — Historian Webster Tarpley : Nixon Was Ousted By The CIA

“Kissinger served as Nixon’s de facto intelligence adviser and it was Kissinger, not the CIA, whom Nixon counted on to help him keep informed about global events. In part, Kissinger did this each day by sending Nixon a memorandum prepared at the White House Situation Room, to which the PDB was appended, that consisted of Kissinger’s take of what developments were important for Nixon to keep in mind.”

On This Day — Who Killed Dag Hammarskjöld and Why? (July 29 1905 – September 18 1961)

“I continue to have a strong feeling that Hammarskjold’s death was not an accident.”

Richard Goldstone

“There is a significant amount of evidence from eyewitnesses that they observed more than one aircraft in the air, that the other aircraft may have been a jet, that SE-BDY was on fire before it crashed, and/or that SE-BDY was fired upon or otherwise actively engaged by another aircraft. In its totality, this evidence is not easily dismissed.”

Mohamed Chande Othman — Former Tanzanian chief justice (September 2017)

“We saw a plane fly over Chifubu but did not pay any attention to it the first time. When we saw it a second and third time, we thought that this plane was denied landing permission at the airport. Suddenly, we saw another aircraft approach the bigger aircraft at greater speed and release fire which appeared as a bright light. The plane on the top turned and went in another direction. We sensed the change in sound of the bigger plane. It went down and disappeared.”

Dickson Mbewe — Eyewitness

“It will be necessary to find some way of pulling Hammarskjold up short.”

UK Prime Minister Harold Macmillan (September 13  1961)

“Hammarskjöld was at the point of getting something done when they killed him. Notice that I said ‘when they killed him’.”

US President Harry Truman (September 19  1961)

September 18 2017 — On September 18 1961, the Ndola United Nations DC-6 crashed, killing Dag Hammarskjöld — the second Secretary-General of the United Nations — and 15 others died. Hammarskjöld’s death occurred en route to cease-fire negotiations. A British-run commission of inquiry blamed the crash in 1961 on pilot error. A later UN investigation rubber-stamped its findings. Two Years Ago — Dr A. Q. Khan : The Bomb, the Swiss and the CIA

“If you put the [A. Q. Kahn] puzzle together, you get the whole picture.”

 Swiss magistrate Andreas Müller

“If the Swiss can safeguard billions in hundreds of thousands of numbered accounts, they can guard a few CDs. The destruction of the documents was intended to erase evidence of Tinner collusion with Western intelligence agencies.”

Anonymous Diplomat

“The man was followed for almost 10 years, and, obviously, he was a serious problem. But again I was told that the secret services could handle it more effectively. The Hague did not have the final say in the matter. Washington did.”

Ruud Lubbers — Former Dutch prime minister (August 2006)

“Something is not right, we just don’t lose things like that. I find it bewildering that people lose files with a political goal, especially if it is on request of the CIA. It is unheard of.”

Judge Anita Leeser

“Had we found WMDs in Iraq, there would have been no [Libyan Nuke Project] BBC China story.”

Pakistani nuclear physicist: Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan

September 18 2016 — A Swiss man whose computers were destroyed a decade ago during an investigation into the illicit sale of nuclear weapons material to Libya has failed to force Switzerland to pay him more than $1 million in property damages.  The high court did not release the man’s name, but the ruling stated his case was linked to the Tinner family — father Friedrich Tinner, along with sons Marco and Urs — who were arrested in 2005.  MSM reported that the Tinners assisted the CIA in its work to prevent Libya from fully developing its uranium-enrichment program. The true story is a bit more complex. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY

The KRYPTOS Sculpture — The NSA Solution for Section III

With trembling hands, I made a tiny breach in the upper left hand corner… widening the hole a little, I inserted the candle and peered in… at first I could see nothing, the hot air escaping from the chamber causing the candle to flicker. Presently, details of the room emerged slowly from the mist, strange animals, statues and gold – everywhere the glint of gold. For the moment – an eternity it must have seemed to the others standing by – I was struck dumb with amazement, and when Lord Carnarvon, unable to stand in suspense any longer, inquired anxiously “Can you see anything?”, it was all I could do to get out the words “Yes, wonderful things”.

Howard Carter — The Tomb of Tutankhamen

Diary — November 26 1922

Kryptos at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia

KRYPTOS is a sculpture by the American artist Jim Sanborn located on the grounds of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Langley, Virginia. Since its dedication on November 3, 1990, there has been much speculation about the meaning of the four encrypted messages it bears. Of the four messages, the first three have been solved, while the fourth message remains as one of the most famous unsolved codes in the world. The sculpture continues to be of interest to cryptanalysts, both amateur and professional, who are attempting to decipher the fourth passage. The artist has so far given two clues to this passage.

In this post, I present the solution to Section III of the cypher as explained by the NSA. As I explained before, I do not like this method/explanation for several reasons. I do not think that this technique would appeal to an artist such Sanborn. Moreover, the way the question mark is handled is highly dubious. And finally, there is no explanation for the mysterious “Q” at the end of the message. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Havana Syndrome — What Are the Frequencies Used by US Intel for Microwave Spying?

” [LOUDAUTO is] extremely useful for picking up room audio. It can pick up speech at a standard, office volume from over 20′ away. (NOTE: Concealments may reduce this distance.) It uses very little power (~15 uA at 3.0 VDC), so little, in fact, that battery self-discharge is more of an issue for serviceable lifetime than the power draw from this unit. The simplicity of the design allows the form factor to be tailored for specific operation requirements. All components at COTS and so are non-attributable to NSA.”

From the NSA’s Tailored Access Operations (TAO) group implant catalogue

Why is the Washington Post telling his readers that “Microwave Weapons” do not exist? Why do they ridicule a known technology — patented in the US and used by the NSA according to documents leaked by Snowden — as fake news? Why was the initial report regarding the mysterious illness affecting the US diplomats in Havana “lost” for six months, thus badly delaying the start of the US investigation? And why has the CDC never been contacted to investigate this case? Do not worry. It will eventually make sense.

First thing first. Obviously, I would like to know what frequencies are used today for “Microwave spying”? Well, Snowden gave us a few clues regarding the NSA/CIA gadgets. Tiny steps for tiny feet. Snowden revelations include a very much ignored information regarding an Audio-based RF retro-reflector — codenamed LOUDAUTO — which provides room audio from targeted space using radar and basic post-processing. Let us try to make sense of it!  Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

On This Day — Remembering Navy Cryptanalyst Agnes Meyer Driscoll (July 24, 1889 – September 16, 1971)

“Once the pursuit of truth begins to haunt the mind, it becomes an ideal never wholly attained.”

“We can never achieve absolute truth but we can live hopefully by a system of calculated probabilities.”

Agnes Meyer Driscoll

“In her thirty-year career, Mrs. Driscoll broke Japanese Navy manual codes — the Red Book Code in the 1920s, the Blue Book Code in 1930, and, in 1940, she made critical inroads into JN-25, the Japanese fleet’s operational code, which the U.S. Navy exploited after the attack on Pearl Harbor for the rest of the Pacific War.”

On this Day — The Wall Street Bombing (September 16 1920)

“Almost in front of the steps leading up to the Morgan bank was the mutilated body of a man. Other bodies, most of them silent in death, lay nearby. As I gazed horror stricken at the site, one of these forms, half-naked and seared with burns, started to rise. It struggled, then toppled and fell lifeless into the gutter.”

Reporter George Weston

A photo of the aftermath of the 1920s Wall Street bombing in New York City.

The Wall Street bombing occurred at 12:01 pm on September 16, 1920, in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. The blast killed 30 people immediately, and another 8 died later of wounds sustained in the blast. There were 143 seriously injured, and the total number of injured was in the hundreds. The case was never solved. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading
