“During restoration works, in a space annexed to the Apostolic Nunciature of Italy, fragments of human bone were found.”

Vatican official statement

“The disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi has been widely linked either to organised crime or to an attempt to force the release from prison of Mehmet Ali Agca, the Turkish man who tried to assassinate Pope John Paul II in 1981.”

BBC (October 31 2018)

Emanuela Orlandi (born 14 January 1968) was a citizen of Vatican City. She mysteriously disappeared on June 22 1983. The case was never solved and generated several conspiracy theories.  Bone fragments found during construction work at the Vatican’s embassy to Italy could hold the clue to this 35-year-old mystery. Lockerbie 30th Anniversary — What do you think about the Lockerbie verdict? [Poll Result – March 2019]

“I regard the Lockerbie verdict against Megrahi as a ‘Grand Monument to Human Stupidity’.  Indeed, the written opinion of the Lockerbie judges is a remarkable document that claims an ‘honoured place in the history of British miscarriages of justice.’ If the [SCCRC] Commission accepts the application for a full review, the infamous Zeist verdict doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of surviving.”

INTEL TODAY — July 5 2017

Robert Black QC FRSE – Professor Emeritus of Scots Law in the University of Edinburgh and best known as the “Architect of the Lockerbie Trial” — has written : “The Lockerbie trial is the most disgraceful miscarriage of justice in Scotland for 100 years. Every lawyer who has read the judgment says ‘this is nonsense’. It is nonsense.” Obviously, a few people agree. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Havana Syndrome — “Probable Use of a Neuroweapon to Affect Personnel of US Embassy in Havana: Findings, Pathology, Possible Causes, and Disruptive Effects” — PART I : Dr. Michael Hoffer (University of Miami)

“We’re not saying it’s not an injury to the brain. It may be. We do know, for sure, that it’s an injury to the ear and that the brain is affected. (…) These tests that we did cannot be faked.”

Dr. Michael E. Hoffer — Lead author of the report

“We have measurable, quantifiable evidence that something really did happen to the patients. It’s not just hysteria.”

Dr. Carey Balaban

On September 7 2018, SMA (US Department of Defense Strategic Multilayer Assessment) hosted a speaker session presented by Dr. Carey Balaban (University of Pittsburgh), Dr. Diane DiEuliis (National Defense University), Dr. James Giordano (Georgetown University), and Dr. Michael Hoffer (University of Miami) as a part of its SMA General Speaker Series.

In part I of this series, I present the conclusions of Dr Hoffer in a short documentary using both his PowerPoint slides and his presentation of these slides during the teleconference. I hope that this documentary will make it clear that these diplomats have suffered real injuries. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

On This Day — The Bombing of the Israel Embassy in Buenos Aires (March 17 1992)

“Over the next few weeks, every Argentine seemed to have an opinion about how Nisman had died; the case became the Latin-American equivalent of the J.F.K. assassination, grist for conspiracy theories involving spies and foreign governments and conniving politicians. Posters across Buenos Aires asked: Who killed Nisman?”

The New Yorker

“I am not going to speculate because I do not know who killed him but, yes, there are possibly ‘dark forces’ at work in this country.”

Horacio Verbitzky — Argentina journalist and human rights campaigner

“The challenge is very complex. If this had been investigated differently from the start, this would be a whole different thing.”

Federal prosecutor Eduardo Taiano

Argentina Prosecutor Alberto Nisman (December 5 1963 – January 18 2015) The 52-year-old was found dead in his apartment on January 18 2015. Four years later, the mysterious death of special prosecutor Albert Nisman is still an unresolved case.

One Year Ago — Hanns-Joachim Gottlob Scharff : “Without Torture”

“Everyone at the CIA in the post-Sept. 11 era was simply doing what they were asked to do in the aftermath of a crisis.”

General Michael Hayden — former NSA and CIA Director

“The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him.”

The United Nations International Law Commission

March 16 2018 — Many believe that the Senate intelligence committee should not confirm Gina Haspel as the new CIA director considering that she oversaw the agency’s torture and rendition program, which arguably ranks among some of the bleakest chapters in American history. Former CIA Director Michael Hayden suggests that she was just following orders. Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading

On This Day — CIA William Francis Buckley is Kidnapped in Beirut (March 16 1984)

“Less than a month after Buckley’s kidnapping, then-US president Ronald Reagan signed an order that put in motion what would become known as the Iran Contra Affair. Justified as a program to barter the release of American hostages held by Iranian-linked Hezbollah, the program saw the United States sell Iran missiles through Israel in exchange for the release of kidnapped Americans in Lebanon. By the time the first such sale was made in August 1985, however, Buckley was already dead.”

MICHAEL OMER-MAN — Jerusalem Post (March 11 2012)

In the early morning of March 16, 1984, William Francis Buckley, political officer/station chief for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) at the United States embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, was kidnapped outside his residence. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

5G — Will European Countries Ban Huawei? [UPDATE — German Intelligence Agency : “Huawei Is Not Trustworthy”]

“Perhaps, the most puzzling part of the [Belgian Intelligence Services] report is what it does not mention. Although most countries are extremely concerned about China investments in their Telecom infrastructure, the Belgian report is silent on this issue. Why, on earth, why?”

Intel Today (November 30 2018)

“The UK needs to take decision on the extent to which we are going to be comfortable with Chinese ownership of these technologies.”

MI6 chief Alex Younger (December 3 2018)

“Given the massive cybersecurity and national security risks, the only responsible decision is for Berlin to follow the Australian, New Zealand, and U.S. lead and ban Chinese providers from the German 5G network. In doing so, Europe’s strongest economy would send a crucial signal to the rest of the European Union members that are grappling with the same decision.”

Thorsten Benner — Director of the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin (December 9 2018)

“Huawei shares with the Chinese state intimate and extensive knowledge of the foreign telecommunications systems it is involved with.”

General Michael Hayden — Former head of the U.S. National Security Agency

“If China would resort to putting Canadians to death to defend its corporate national champion, what might it do if the Chinese Communist Party had unfettered access to Canada’s vital communications networks?”

Richard Fadden — Head of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service spy agency from 2009 to 2013 (January 20 2019)

December 5 2018 — The United States, Australia and New Zealand have already blocked Huawei from building their new 5G networks on security grounds. On December 5, Britain’s BT Group said it would rip Huawei equipment from its core telecom network. Canada is also likely to ban Huawei and  it is reported that Japan is expected to ban government use of products made by Huawei and ZTE over cybersecurity concerns.

So, why on earth has Europe been silent on this critical issue for so long? What are they waiting for? I am afraid that it will all depend on Germany’s decision. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading
