COVID-19 — Why has Belgium the highest death rate in the world? [UPDATE]

“It is rare for Donald Trump to credit other countries with world records, but at a press briefing last month the US president unveiled a list that put Belgium at the top. Unfortunately for Belgium, it was a ranking of deaths from the coronavirus. According to numbers collated by the Johns Hopkins University, Belgium leads the world in deaths per head of population. (…) So why is Belgium’s relative death toll so high?”

The Independent (May 1st 2020)

June 2 2020 — Based on a comparison of corona-virus deaths in 178 countries relative to their population, Belgium had the most losses to COVID-19 up until May 29, 2020. These statistics are horrifying. And yet, the truth is even worse. In the Region of Brussels-Capital, the relative death rate is actually twice higher than the average for Belgium. What can possibly explain such an incredibly high death rate? Short answer: incompetence and corruption.  Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

On This Day — Atomic Spies Rosenbergs Are Executed (June 19 1953) [New Documentary : BULLY. COWARD. VICTIM. THE STORY OF ROY COHN]

“It is not within my duty or my power to intervene in this matter.”

Winston Churchill

“If the English want a king, it is their business. If the Russians want communism, it is their business. If the Americans want our form of government, it is our business.”

“This death sentence is not surprising. It had to be.”

Julius Rosenberg

“Now that they are gone, you know, the truth it can be told. They were sacrificial lambs in the market place sold… They were never proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Bob Dylan — Nobel Prize 2016

A lithograph of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg made and signed by Pablo Piccaso in 1952.

June 19 2019 — On Friday June 19, 1953 at 8 pm, Julius Rosenberg was strapped into the electric chair and died after the first jolt. Ethel proved a bit harder to kill. Her heart was still beating after three shocks.  Two more needed to be applied to finally end her life. At that point, witnesses saw a puff of smoke escape from her skull. “The CIA was also looking at infecting the vehicle control systems used by modern cars and trucks. The purpose of such control is not specified, but it would permit the CIA to engage in nearly undetectable assassinations.”

WikiLeaks — Vault 7

Belgium — Operation GLADIO & the “Crazy Killers Gang” [UPDATE : Do you recognize this man?]

“It has become clear to me that a series of investigative strategies had not yielded any satisfactory results, that there have been attempts to manipulate the investigation, while the victims and their relatives have made me understand that they have not been sufficiently heard in the past. It is possible that the killings of Walloon Brabant also targeted the state.”

Koen Geens — Belgian justice minister (October 24 2017)

“I understand that questions arise. And society — especially the victims and their families — is entitled to obtain answers. But I find it too easy to establish links with the way the police forces function today.”

Jan Jambon  — Security and Interior Deputy Prime Minister (October 24 2017)

October 27 2017 — In the 1980’s, the “Crazy Brabant Killers” —  as they were known — murdered 28 people (and wounded many more) in a series of robberies in Belgium. The deathbed confession of a former policeman could solve this series of murder cases which have baffled Belgian police for decades. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Olof Palme — Interview with Top Expert Jan Stocklassa

“Stieg Larsson thought that it was South Africa that instigated the murder, and for reasons connected to the weapons trade all over the world that was going on at the time, connected to the Iran-Contra affair.  That was the motive behind it. There was a war going on, the end of the Cold War, and one of the places where they were carrying out the war was South Africa.”

Jan Stocklassa — Author : “The Man Who Played with Fire.”

Gaining access to Larsson’s archival material — maintained by the anti-racist magazine Expo he founded in 1995 — Stocklassa closely examines the work Larsson did on the Palme case and picks up the thread where it was left off, delving even deeper into the mystery.

June 16 2020 — At 9:30 a.m. on June 10 2020, Krister Petersson [the case’s chief prosecutor], announced that the murder case is now closed because the ‘main suspect’ Stig Engström had died in 2000. Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading

Lockerbie – Three Decades of Lies: J’Accuse…! [Chapter V : Blame it on Gaddafi!]

“No one came to me and said ‘Now we can go for the Libyans’, it was never as straightforward as that. The CIA was extremely subtle.”

Lord Fraser of Carmyllie — Scotland’s senior law officer directly responsible for the conduct of the investigation into the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103

“If I thought for one moment that Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was guilty as charged in the mass murder of 270 innocent people in the crash of the Pan Am airliner ‘Maid of the Seas’ at Lockerbie on 21 December 1988, I would not have agreed to pen an obituary – let alone an affectionate one. My settled conviction, as a ‘Professor of Lockerbie Studies’ over a 22-year period, is that neither Megrahi nor Libya had any role in the destruction of Pan Am 103. The Libyans were cynically scapegoated…”

Tam Dalyell — Scottish Labour Party politician & Member of the House of Commons from 1962 to 2005

“The Myth surrounding Libya and Megrahi now quietly slides into history. Political Expedience rules over Truth.”

Richard C. Fuisz M.D. — CIA High-Level asset  (Email to Intel Today — December 21 2018)

“So UN Resolution 731 was adopted. Everyone at the Security Council knew it was wrong. Everyone knew that Libya had nothing to do with the Lockerbie bombing, and that Libya had once again been made a scapegoat by the United States.”

Francis Boyle — International Law Professor

June 15 2020 — On November 14 1991, the Scotland Lord Advocate (Lord Fraser of Carmyllie ) and the acting United States Attorney General (William Barr) jointly announced that they had obtained warrants for the arrest of two Libyan citizens for their role in the bombing of Pan Am 103. On November 27 1991, the British and United States Governments issued a joint statement calling on the Libyan government to surrender the two men for trial. One Year Ago — CIA New Order of Succession (June 14 2019)

“The following officers of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), in the order listed, shall act as and perform the functions and duties of the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (D/CIA), during any period in which the D/CIA has died, resigned, or otherwise becomes unable to perform the functions and duties of the office of D/CIA.”

Memorandum on Providing an Order of Succession Within the Central Intelligence Agency — The White House (June 14 2019)

D/CIA Gina Haspel (Sworn on May 21 2018)

June 14 2020 — By early June 2019, it was clear that the CIA had strongly supported the premise that there was collusion between the Russians and Donald Trump’s campaign. On June 12 2019, The New York Times published an article titled “Justice Department Seeks to Question C.I.A. in Its Own Russia Investigation.” Given the lack of evidence, U.S. Attorney General William Barr suspected the real motives were political. Thus, considering the links between CIA Director Haspel and former CIA Director John Brennan, many observers predicted that Trump would dismiss Haspel. But it did not happen. Why on earth not? “I do believe this to be a personal issue, but since it is an object of discussion, I would just as soon have you know what I know. I started to think about it and to put pieces together. There was more and more information, and it began to make more sense to me.”

Three Years Ago — Meet Trump’s New Iran Man : CIA Michael D’Andrea

“Michael D’Andrea has been revealed to be the Chief of the CIA’s Counter Terrorism Center for the last many years. He replaced Robert L. Grenier as head of CTC in 2006. He is well known as the originator of the CIA’s ‘Signature Strike’ drone operations around the world. He is depicted in the film — Zero Dark Thirty — as The Wolf.”

Cryptocomb (April 17 2014)

“A formidable adversary for the Iranians, therefore – as well as the Syrians – but it’s very odd we haven’t heard any more about him [Michael D’Andrea] for all these months. Isn’t he taking a serious interest in the latest events in Iran? Surely he is. That’s his job, isn’t it? But why this silence? Are we unable to connect any threads here? Is there perhaps, maybe, by chance alone, nudge-is-as-good-as-a-wink, some link between the “intelligence services” about whom poor old Khamenei waffles in Tehran and the “intelligence services” run by Michael D’Andrea, the man who must start “carrying out President Trump’s views”? I’m not at all sure that “the world is watching”. But it should be.”

Robert Fisk (January 2018)

Michael D’Andrea was the basis for a character known as “The Wolf” — played by Fredric Lehne — in the movie “Zero Dark Thirty”.

June 11 2017 — Michael D’Andrea, also known as the Dark Prince or Ayatollah Mike, oversaw the hunt for Osama bin Laden and the American drone strike campaign. But from now on, the very controversial CIA officer will be running the C.I.A.’s Iran operations. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading
