The US president (78) was departing for Atlanta from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

About halfway up the red carpeted stairs, Biden could be seen losing his footing before stumbling three times.

White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said Biden was not injured.

“I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, Biden referred to vice-president Kamala Harris as “President Harris”

Last November, Dr. Kevin O’Connor — Biden’s primary care doctor since 2009 — wrote that Biden is “a healthy, vigorous man who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”

According to an academic paper released by the American Federation for Aging Research, Biden has a 79% chance of living through a first term and a 70% chance of surviving through a second term.

What about cognitive decline? Above the age of 65, a person’s risk of Alzheimer’s disease or vascular dementia doubles about every 5 years. Dementia affects one in 14 people over 65 and one in six people over 80.

By the way, did you know that psychiatrists tend to vote Democratic. In 1968, President Lyndon Johnson’s pollster noted that doctors were overwhelmingly Republican — “except for psychiatrists.”
