UPDATE (January 26 2021) — The lockdown is long and painful. So, I thought you may enjoy a few jokes on this very special anniversary.
A few months ago, Twitter users engaged, en masse, in a social media parlor game in which the user describes the topic of a hypothetical joke, then attempts a humorous, often pun-oriented description of the joke as a kicker to the tweet.
Here are a few examples:
“I have an ethanol joke, but it’s corny,”
“I have a joke on Nepotism but will only tell it to my kids.”
“I have a cat joke, and it’s purr-fect.”
“I have a Charles Manson joke and it kills.”
Intel Today had a NSA joke, but no such agency exists. Trust me. Once upon a time, that one would have been funny… Ed Snowden just ruined it. I will never pardon him.
Anyway, the prize went to a real whistleblower…

After repeatedly denying an inappropriate relationship with Lewinsky, the President finally acknowledged the affair in a televised speech to a grand jury in August 1998– six months after his strenuous denial.
But he insisted that because certain acts were performed on him, not by him, he did not engage in sexual relations.
A month later, Kenneth Starr’s 445-page report on his investigation into the President was studied by the House Judiciary Committee, which then proposed four articles of impeachment.
The impeachment of Bill Clinton was initiated on October 8, 1998, when the United States House of Representatives voted to commence impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States, for “high crimes and misdemeanours”.
Bill Clinton was only the second president in American history to face such an indictment, after Andrew Johnson in 1868.
President Clinton’s trial began on 7 January 1999 and ended on 12 February 1999.
US Senators voted to acquit him of the impeachment charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
PS — The Al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory in Khartoum North, Sudan, was constructed between 1992 and 1996 with components imported from Germany, India, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand and the United States.
The factory was opened on 12 July 1997 and bombed by the United States on August 20, 1998.
The attack — not justified by serious intelligence — took place a week after the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Coincidence?
