The world’s most expensive painting to sell at auction is Leonardo da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi, which sold for $450.3 million on November 15, 2017 at Christie’s.

Salvator Mundi (circa 1490–1500) was long mistaken for a copy. Years of research pieced together its story, finally enabling its attribution to Leonardo da Vinci.

A painting from Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, or Amedeo Modigliani will cost you quite a bit of money. But that is nothing compared to our mysterious pic!

This tiny fragment of a circuit board ended up costing Libya more than US$20 billion in lost revenue during the 1990’s.

This odd-looking ‘thing’ was long mistaken for a genuine piece of evidence in the most expensive trial in history.

After years of research, I have finally pieced together its story.

Today, we KNOW that our “Puzzle Object” is the most expensive forgery in history!
