“His death was almost certainly the result of a sinister intervention.”

I also received information regarding an unauthenticated claim made by a Belgian pilot, “Beukels”, to Claude de Kemoularia in 1967 that Beukels shot down or otherwise forced SE-BDY to crash. In the course of my work, I was for the first time given access to the originals of De Kemoularia’s agendas, as well as many of his personal records, which appear to verify his meeting with “Beukels” and other mercenaries in 1967. I also reviewed De Kemoularia’s letters showing that he had gone to the French and Swedish authorities regarding Beukels’s claim much earlier than previously understood. However, without further information, I was not able to verify other aspects of the claim, including, most notably, the identity of “Beukels”.

In October 2017, Judge Othman — a former chief justice of Tanzania — produced a report for Mr. Guterres, which supports the longstanding suspicion that Mr. Hammarskjold may have been assassinated.
“Tt remained plausible that an external attack or threat may have been a cause of the crash,” Mr. Guterres said in a statement.
“Mr. Guterres said he also had asked governments that may hold information relevant to the Dag Hammarskjold investigation to appoint an independent and high-ranking official to conduct a dedicated internal review of their intelligence, security and defense archives to determine whether relevant information exists.”
Judge Othman did not immediately respond to inquiries about the resumption of his work and precisely where he might be seeking more information.” [NYT]
A former Belgian mercenary known only as ‘Beukels’ has claimed that he accidentally shot down the Albertina in an attempt to divert it from Ndola to another airport.
However, an expert believes that ‘Beukels’ is a false track. In a comment posted on january 26 2018, Victor Rosez wrote:
“We are wasting too much time looking for the case of the diplomat Claude De Kemoularia and the officers (brothers) De Troyer and Grant concerning the famous pilot Beukels who would have descended the Albertina with on board the secretary general of the United Nations Mr Dag Hammarskjöld.
This is a false track, the real name of this pilot is Roger Beuckels who is not a pilot at all but a mercenary who served in the 14th Commando in 1964/65 around Stanleyville where he committed atrocities. It seems that he was also in Kipushi in Katanga in 1962/63. Before that he already had a career as a criminal …
The officers De Troyer (yet occupying high positions in the army) who brought this witness knew very well that this Beukels was a false track … one can ask why they did this?”
A very credible source told INTEL TODAY that Jan Van Risseghem is the Belgian pilot responsible for the death of Dag Hammarskjold.
Van Risseghem’s widow claimed that her husband had an alibi. According to his log, he was somewhere else at the time.
However, two experts told Intel today that the entry in the log book is a fabrication.
“There is something very strange with that log… the pages in that log concerning the famous period of the crash are not written by Jan Van Risseghem but by the hand of Marjon… that makes that log a false evidence,” Victor Rosez argues.
