Germany — The BND Operational Structure

“ The Bundesnachrichtendienst is the sole foreign intelligence service of the Federal Republic of Germany. As such it reports directly to the Federal Chancellery.

The mission of the Bundesnachrichtendienst is to provide the Federal Government with fast and comprehensive information. Since nothing goes out-of-date quite as fast as up-to-date information.

The security policy parameters within which the Bundesnachrichtendienst operates are constantly changing. We live in a multipolar world. Globalization intensifies mutual dependencies worldwide. Present-day crises and conflicts are often highly dynamic and require rapid action from policymakers. New conflict types and conflict scenarios dominate the international arena.”

Scope of Work — BND Official website

Bruno Kahl — BND President

The BND  (German: Bundesnachrichtendienst) is the foreign intelligence agency of Germany, directly subordinated to the Chancellor’s Office. Its headquarters are in Pullach near Munich, and Berlin (planned to be centralised in Berlin by 2016, with about 4,000 people). The Bundesnachrichtendienst has a flat management hierarchy. The President and the Vice Presidents are supported by an executive group. The directorates are composed of working units and teams. Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading

The Cuba Syndrome : Sonic Attacks or Microwave Weapons?

“What we’ve said to the Cubans is: Small island. You’ve got a sophisticated intelligence apparatus. You probably know who’s doing it. You can stop it. It’s as simple as that.”

Rex Tillerson — US Secretary of State  (December 6 2017)

US officials briefed on the investigation no longer use the term “sonic attack”. The weird noises heard by the victims are believed to be a consequence and not the cause of this suspected attack on US diplomants — actually spies — by a foreign government. SEXPIONAGE — Profumo Affair Christine Keeler Has Died

“It [The ghost-written book] got me right, it has got me emotionally right. There’s one word I don’t like: ‘Ruining my life may not seem very important to some, considering what I was, just a pretty scrubber…’ I wanted them to change it to ‘tart.’ ‘Scrubber’ implies someone who can’t talk properly and wears horrible clothes, but I always spoke well and had good clothes. I’ve always had a bit of class to me. I’m sure Jack Profumo wouldn’t have gone out with a scrubber. Perhaps they should have written ‘just a pretty nobody.’”

Christine Keeler — Interview by Simon Hoggart about her second autobiography (The Observer – March 13, 1983)

Lewis Morley’s 1963 portrait of Christine Keeler became an iconic image of the cold war

Edward S. Herman (April 7, 1925 – November 11, 2017) & Lockerbie

“The propaganda system allows the U.S. leadership to commit crimes without limit and with no suggestion of misbehavior or criminality; in fact, major war criminals like Henry Kissinger appear regularly on TV to comment on the crimes of the derivative butchers.”

“When Abdelbasset Al-Megrahi, after serving 10 years of a life sentence for allegedly blowing up the Pan Am 103 airliner over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, was granted compassionate release due to terminal illness, the ensuing controversy was loud and indignant. Al-Megrahi, a former Libyan intelligence officer, returned home to what was angrily described in U.S. media as a ‘hero’s welcome.’ Recalling the bombing, which killed 270 people, many U.S. family members, political leaders and journalists felt that the decade in prison was not enough. But the media’s simplistic tale of villainy and impunity requires a very selective reading of history.”

Edward S. Herman

Edward S. Herman was professor emeritus of finance at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and a media analyst with a specialty in corporate and regulatory issues as well as political economy. Herman was — without a doubt — one of the great thinkers of our time. And, he was also — as I discovered — a wonderful person. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Turkey’s chief prosecutor issues arrest warrant for ex-CIA Graham Fuller

“I have not set foot in or even near Turkey in five years. […] The night of the coup attempt in Turkey I happen to have been addressing a group of 100 people or so right here in the town in western Canada where I have been living for the last 15 years.”

Graham Fuller — December 2 2017

Turkey’s chief prosecutor has issued an arrest warrant for former CIA officer Graham Fuller. Contrary to many reports, Fuller was NOT in Turkey during the July 16 Coup as INTEL TODAY reported correctly since the very beginning. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Suspicious Aviation Tragedies — November 27 1989 : Avianca Flight 203 [UPDATE]

“No one acts alone without orders in the FBI. We had clear goals which were clearly given to us in every document we received from anyone. If a police organization wished for us to provide them “proof” of guilt, then they told us in many ways of their absolute belief that the perpetrators were those individuals they had already arrested. If the president of the United States tells the country in the national news that Dandeny Munoz Mosquera is one of the most feared assassins in the history of the world, then every agent knows that he must provide information to support that statement. If leaders decide without concern for foundation of truth then most people will follow them.”

Fred Whitehurst — Former FBI Chemist (Email to the author)

Avianca 203

Avianca Airlines Flight 203 was a Colombian domestic passenger flight from El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Cali. Avianca Flight 203 crashed over the municipality of Soacha on November 27, 1989. Allegedly, the plane was destroyed by a bomb. This explanation is however much disputed by experts today. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

One Year Ago — EUROPOL : Islamic State to step up attacks on European targets

“We have to be vigilant, since the threat posed by the so-called Islamic State (IS) and returning foreign fighters is likely to persist in the coming years. These people are trained to use explosives and firearms and they have been indoctrinated by the jihadist ideology.”

Gilles de Kerchove

One year ago, EUROPOL has warned that militants from Islamic State (IS) will aim to step up attacks on European targets, as they face defeat in the Middle East.

Let us look at the terror attacks attributed to ISIS over the last 12 months in Europe.

The United Kingdom and France both  saw four major attacks carried out. Other targets in Europe have included Belgium, Germany, Russia, and Spain and Sweden. The transcontinental city of Istanbul also saw both bombings and shootings.

Attacks have occurred in countries participating in “Operation Inherent Resolve” — the military intervention against ISIL.

Russiagate — Former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn Charged Over False Statements to FBI

“General Flynn is a wonderful man. I think he has been treated very, very unfairly by the media, as I call it, the fake media in many cases. And I think it is really a sad thing that he was treated so badly.”

President Donald Trump — News conference on February 15 2017. (Two days after Mr. Flynn’s resignation)

General Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s ex-national security adviser, has pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI in January 2017.

As part of his plea bargain, Michael Flynn has signed a “statement of the offence” that includes a timeline of the last week of December 2016. In the TIMELINE at the end of this post, I have added this ‘official timeline’ (with the dates of these statements written in bold).

As far as I can tell, these statements are entirely consistent with all the facts which were known so far. I have found no inconsistencies. I can only conclude that Flynn is almost certainly telling the truth about these events.

We also learned, for the first time, that Jared Kushner — at the request of the Israel Prime Minister — wanted to interfere with an upcoming UN vote. Kushner is thus, almost certainly, guilty of violation of the LOGAN ACT, whatever the current status of this law.

The White House is now branding Flynn “a lying liar who lies” but there is at least one good reason to believe that Flynn was indeed acting under the order of a senior member of Trump transition team.

NEVER FORGET — The mysterious death of Cold War-era military scientist Frank Olson

“While the court must limit its analysis to the four corners of the complaint, the skeptical reader may wish to know that the public record supports many of the allegations [in the family’s suit], farfetched as they may sound.”

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg — Frank Olson Case

0331.CR2

Wormwood is based on a true story and explores the mysterious death of Cold War-era military scientist Frank Olson (played by Sarsgaard) and his son’s tireless efforts to uncover the truth. In 1953, Frank Olson was recruited to be part of a secret biological warfare program cryptically referred to as Project MKUltra. The miniseries is blending long-form documentary interview with a dramatic reconstruction of pivotal scenes.

Frank Rudolph Olson (July 17, 1910 – November 28, 1953) was an American bacteriologist, biological warfare scientist, and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee who worked at Camp Detrick (now Fort Detrick) in Maryland. In rural Maryland, he was covertly dosed with LSD by his CIA supervisor and, nine days later, plunged to his death from the window of a New York City hotel room. Some — including the U.S. government — term his death a suicide, while others allege murder. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY
