Intel Today Under Attack — Why Do I Blog Anyway?

“All mistakes originate with people’s acting like experts thoroughly familiar with a subject, and looking down with an air of superiority on others.”

Yoshida Kenkō — Tsurezuregusa (ca. 1330)

April 23 2020 — Our blog is under serious attack. Over the years, I may perhaps have been right too many times and the recent confirmation of my old story on Crypto AG has surely upset a few people. So, I have reasons to fear that a decision to shut down this blogger may be under discussion. But, today, I will not talk about this threat. As this old man celebrates another birthday, I think I should reflect on a very simple question: Why do I blog anyway? Is it worth the troubles? Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Earth Day 2020 — CIA : “Climatological Research as it Pertains to Intelligence Problems”

“For 250 years most of the world suffered major economic and political unrest which could be directly or indirectly attributed to the climate of the neo-boreal era. Another Little Ice Age would cause hundreds of millions of deaths around the world and cause massive social unrest.”

CIA REPORT 1974

“I was horrified by what I found. Global warming really has become a new religion. Because you cannot discuss it. It’s not proper. It is like the Catholic Church.”

Dr Ivar Giaever — 1973 Physics Nobel Prize (2015 Mainau Nobel Conference)

April 22 2020 — Today, the world celebrates the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! I thought I should take this opportunity to remind you that a 1974 Central Intelligence Agency report warned that “Earth’s climate is returning to that of the neo-boreal era… an era of drought, famine, and political unrest in the western world.” Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

5G — Fake News in the time of the coronavirus [UPDATE]

“Psychopaths rarely learn from mistakes and have difficulty seeing beyond the present. Consequently, they have deficient longterm planning, and their judgment is weak. In contrast to their problems in strategic planning, psychopaths can be supremely skilled tacticians and exceptionally quick on their feet. Absent the usual prohibition against violating rules or social customs, psychopaths are tactically unbound and remarkably uninhibited.”

POLL : “Who do you think played the most important role in defeating the Nazis?” [2020]

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

George Santayana —  Philosopher, poet and novelist

“In 1945, most French people thought that the Soviet Union deserved the most credit for Nazi Germany’s defeat in World War II — even though the Soviets didn’t play much of a role in France’s liberation, relative to the US and Britain. By 1995 and 2004, however, the French had changed their minds, and were crediting the US as the biggest contributor to victory in Europe.”

Vox — June 2014

April 20 2020 — On April 13 2018, 2565 UK adults were asked this question: “Who do you think played the most important role in defeating the Nazis during World War II?” Results were weighted to be representative of the GB population. Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading
