Spygate — Will Former CIA Director John Brennan Go to Prison? [UPDATE : Brennan is in the cross-hairs of Durham’s investigation]

“Spying did occur [on the Trump campaign in 2016]. The question is whether it was adequately predicated. And I’m not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated. But I need to explore that.”

US Attorney General William Barr (April 10 2019)

“The core of this conspiracy began with John Brennan and ends with John Brennan. This is very serious business and for the first time, I now believe that some of these guys [James Comey, John Brennan and James Clapper] are going to go to prison. (…) Brennan needs five lawyers.”

Former U.S. Attorney and Special Counsel Joe diGenova (May 15 2019)

“Either we need a new election or hang former CIA Director John Brennan for putting out disinformation.”

Former CIA operative Robert Baer — Newsweek (January 2017)

Brussels, Den of Spies — The European Capital is a playground for spies [UPDATE : Malta’s embassy used as a “Chinese spy tower” to eavesdrop on EU institutions]

“Brussels has now overtaken Vienna when it comes to the density of so-called intelligence services from outside the EU.”

Peter Gridling — Head of Austria’s domestic intelligence agency (June 2018)

“Belgium may seem an unlikely destination for a Chinese agent. In fact, it’s a den of spies, according to domestic intelligence agency State Security (VSSE). It says the number of operatives is at least as high as during the Cold War, and Brussels is their chessboard.”

How Belgium Became Europe’s Den of Spies and a Gateway for China — Bloomberg (November 28 2019)

Germany — Constitutional Complaint Lodged Against BND Law [UPDATE : Spies must obey the Constitution]

“The law allows the foreign intelligence agency to spy on journalists abroad almost without restrictions and to share the information with other secret services. This is an unacceptable restriction of press freedom, which is why we are supporting the affected parties in their court action.”

Christian Mihr — Executive Director of RSF Germany

“That’s not so easy to answer from where we sit. But we have no interest in investigating journalists on the whole. Neither domestically nor abroad. We are searching for information that is relevant to our security and looking for people who are planning evil deeds. It can’t be avoided that these people sometimes communicate with others who are less suspicious.”

Bruno Kahl — BND President

The BND [Bundesnachrichtendienst] acts as an early warning system to alert the German government to threats to German interests from abroad. It depends heavily on wiretapping and electronic surveillance of international communications.

February 1 2018 — The so-called “Journalist BND law” makes distinctions between journalists from EU countries and journalists from non-EU countries. Journalists who are citizens of non-EU countries can be legally subjected to surveillance by the BND without a court order [The Bundesnachrichtendienst is the foreign intelligence agency of Germany] if it is in the “interests of Germany.” As part of the case, the plaintiffs also launched a social media campaign entitled “No trust, no news.” Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today Continue reading

Lockerbie – Three Decades of Lies: J’Accuse…! [Chapter I : A week in December]

“The truth must be known.”

Motto of the Pan Am 103 passengers’ families

US President’s Commission on Aviation Security and Terrorism (London, February 12 1990) [1]

May 18 2020 —  On this day 30 years ago, Dr. Jim Swire boarded British Airways Flight 177, London’s Heathrow airport to New York’s JFK. Inside his luggage, Dr. Swire had hidden a suspicious device.

This good friend of mine had carried a fake bomb onto the aircraft as a demonstration of lax security. Today, I post the first chapter of my book “Lockerbie — Three Decades of Lies: J’Accuse…!” free for all of you to read, learn and enjoy. Following chapters will be posted every Monday for the next 10 weeks.  Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

INTEL TODAY : “What they say about us” — A Letter from Dr Jim Swire

“INTEL TODAY, in its relentless publishing on line of so many truths about the (Lockerbie) atrocity, has recently identified two men and one woman (solicitor Gareth Pierce) who all gave enormous support in the search for TRUTH. Professor Robert Black of Edinburgh in whose shadow I was grateful to stand to help pursue the agreement of the late Colonel Gaddafi to allow his citizens to be tried in a Western court, and then George Thomson, indefatigable investigator that he is. There are so many others that their friendship and support are a major part of the ability to persevere; we are fortunate indeed to have found so many friends. Love of truth seems to attract the most loveable.”

“The work of younger people and groups such as INTEL TODAY with its tapping of objective professional expertise carries the responsibility of revealing the truth. For example, search their brilliant coverage of PT35b!”

Dr. Jim Swire — Letter to Intel Today (May 17 2020)

Dr Herbert ‘Jim’ Swire  — Jim Swire is an English engineer [electronics] as well as a medical doctor.
Dr Swire is best known for his involvement in the aftermath of the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, in which his daughter Flora was killed.

Three Years Ago — Former CIA Robert Baer: “We Deserve The Truth” [9/11 & The 28 Pages Report] UPDATE

“There was an awful lot of participation by Saudi individuals in supporting the hijackers, and some of those people worked in the Saudi government. Our report should never have been read as an exoneration of Saudi Arabia.”

John F. Lehman — Republican member of the 9/11 commission

BAER

Former CIA Robert Baer

August 25 2016 — The so-called “28 pages” report suggests a much larger web of connections between al-Qaida and the Saudi royal family than had previously been known. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

Wikipedia : A Disinformation Operation? [UPDATE: Virgil Griffith, Aaron Swartz & Lockerbie]

“Truth is the daughter of time, not of authority.”

Francis Bacon

“This story is demented and broken on so many levels, it is quite difficult to know where to begin, even. Here we have an excellent Wikipedia administrator who has been victimized by lunatic conspiracy theorists, a private person who has absolutely no relation to the wild stories that this article promulgates. Slashdot, you have been trolled.”

Jimmy Wales — Wikipedia co-founder (July 26 2007)

“I cannot confirm that the traffic you cite came from agency computers.”

George E. Little — CIA Spokesperson (August 15 2007)

“A nuclear scientist and reporter Ludwig De Braeckeleer suggested that intelligence agents may have infiltrated Wikipedia to remove undesirable information from Wikipedia articles The design and application of WikiScanner technology proved such suspicions to be well founded”

Internet Brigades in Wikipedia — Wikipedia

“The strange thing about this story is that this was proven to be true. And there was no denying it. Then later on, a few people started to deny it and claim that it was merely a rumor. Wikipedia has no excuse to hide this.”

Anonymous [Wikipedia user Blissyu2]

March 19 2020 — The Swiss Propaganda Research Group (SPR), founded in 2016, is an independent non-profit research group investigating geopolitical propaganda in Swiss and international media. World Cocktail Day 2020 — “Vodka Martini. Shaken, Not Stirred”

“There is strong and consistent evidence that James Bond has a chronic alcohol consumption problem at the ‘severe’ end of the spectrum. He should seek professional help and try to find other strategies for managing occupational stress.”

Medical Journal of Australia (December 2018)

“Do I look like I give a damn?”

James Bond —  Casino Royale (2006)

May 13 2020 — World Cocktail Day is a global celebration of cocktails. It marks the publication date of the first definition of a cocktail on May 13 in 1806. The Oxford Dictionaries define cocktail as “An alcoholic drink consisting of a spirit or spirits mixed with other ingredients, such as fruit juice or cream”.  My favorite cocktail is the Long Island Iced Tea. One Year Ago — New York Times Journalist Lying Through His Teeth [5G]

“The Russian network RT America aired the segment, titled ‘A Dangerous Experiment on Humanity,’ in covering what its guest experts call 5G’s dire health threats. U.S. intelligence agencies identified the network as a principal meddler in the 2016 presidential election. Now, it is linking 5G signals to brain cancer, infertility, autism, heart tumors and Alzheimer’s disease — claims that lack scientific support.”

William J. Broad — New York Times (May 12 2019)

May 13 2019 — Journalist William J. Broad just penned the worst “science piece” since the New York Times argued that a rocket could not reach the moon because there is no atmosphere to push against. The article is also a masterpiece of US propaganda. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY Continue reading

On This Day — First Modern Computer Delivered to German Aerospace Institute (May 12 1941) [2020]

“The danger of computers becoming like humans is not as great as the danger of humans becoming like computers.”
