“This gentleman, Skripal, had already been punished. He was arrested, sentenced and then served time in prison. He received his punishment. For that matter, he was off the radar. Why would anybody be interested in him? He got punished. He was detained, arrested, sentenced and then spent five years in prison. Then he was released and that was it.”

“Don’t believe the BS from ‘The Good Shepherd.’ Donovan recruited lots of first- and second-generation Americans like himself. He said no country in the world had more citizens with knowledge of other countries. The best example are the OSS Operational Groups, predecessors to SF.”
The OSS Society — Tweet (February 25 2020)
Sunday March 1 2021 — Thank God, It is [Joke & Parody] Sunday! There is no doubt that the recent tweet from the Office of Strategic Service [OSS] Society is a about a very serious issue: the diversity of the CIA workforce. I promise to (seriously) discus this topic soon. But we have been a bit too serious in recent weeks, and it is time to return to our tradition of Sunday jokes, parodies and animal spy stories. “I cannot talk about the 2007 incident. It is classified. I risk incarceration. I have a family. If you are contemplating whistleblowing … you’re going to sit there and say, ‘If I go through that system, it will not end well for me. I’m going to lose my career and I’m going to be financially devastated.’”
Former CIA John Reidy
July 30 2021 — This year marks the 243rd anniversary of America’s first whistleblower law, passed unanimously on July 30th, 1778 during the height of the American Revolution. The law was passed after ten whistleblowers reported wrongdoing and abuses committed by a superior officer in the Continental Navy. The first Congressional celebration of National Whistleblower Day took place in the U.S. Senate Kennedy Caucus Room on July 30th, 2015. Every year since, the National Whistleblower Center has held an event on Capitol Hill to celebrate whistleblowers. Follow on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY

“Another year has passed, and there is still no truth or justice for Daphne Caruana Galizia in sight. Three years after her murder, it has still not been established who ordered it and what the motives behind her brutal assassination were.”

“The fact that people didn’t evacuate or get the warnings suggests that something is going wrong. If you’ve got some information about what risk you’re at and you can understand it, you can take action to protect yourself. These floods were huge. Probably they were like a fantasy or a kind of science-fiction movie for people.”
Hannah Cloke — Professor of hydrology at Reading University
July 20 2021 — Belgium and Germany knew that huge floods were coming. Yet, the early warnings were not passed to the population. Scientists believe that this ‘monumental failure of the system’ is directly to blame for the death of at least 200 people in Germany and Belgium. Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY
“We have a very strong team of people — the best across CIA — focused on those questions of ‘What?’ and ‘Who?’, led by a very experienced and accomplished senior officer who, a decade ago, led the successful hunt for bin Laden. So we’re throwing the very best we have at this issue.”
CIA Director William J. Burns

July 28 2021 — The identity of this veteran CIA officer remains classified. But various media and CIA director William Burns have offered a few clues. Although very little was revealed, the information is probably sufficient to identify the new boss of the CIA ‘Havana Syndrome’ task force. Here is my best guess! Follow us on twitter: @Intel_Today
“A nuclear scientist and reporter Ludwig De Braeckeleer suggested that intelligence agents may have been infiltrated Wikipedia to remove undesirable information from Wikipedia articles. The design and application of WikiScanner technology proved such suspicions to be well founded.”
Internet Brigades in Wikipedia — Wikipedia
July 26 2017 — On this day (July 26 2007) ten years ago, OMNI (Ohmy News International) published a piece regarding suspicious edits made to certain articles on Wikipedia. As I was researching a piece on the Lockerbie tragedy, I noticed that some information regarding a Palestinian terrorist group had been erased. Upon closer inspection, I came to the conclusion that Intelligence Agencies were editing sensitive information on Wikipedia. I was not wrong.
