“The CIA ran a clandestine op in the U.S., and they didn’t want the FBI involved in it.”
Former FBI Mark Rossini
Mark Rossini was an FBI Special Agent who had a distinguished career working on complex criminal cases and counterterrorism matters. Perhaps, we should listen to what he has been saying all along about the 9/11 attacks? Follow us on Twitter: @Intel_Today
About Mark Rossini
Mark Rossini served as an FBI representative to the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center (CTC) at CIA Headquarters and he was one of the founding executives of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).
Rossini has worked on international terrorism matters concerning the FARC, ETA, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaeda.
Rossini briefed the Threat Matrix at the daily 5 p.m. meetings on worldwide counterterrorism operations at the CIA to then Director of Central Intelligence, George J. Tenet, and the executive leadership of the CIA. Rossini is now a counter terrorism consultant.

Mr. Rossini blames the CIA for the 9/11 attacks. It is my opinion that his story should be investigated rather than dismissed as a ‘Conspiracy Theory’.
Tracking al-Qaeda operatives in the US
Rossini served as one of the two FBI liaisons to the CIA’s Bin Laden Issue Station, an inter-agency team assigned to track Osama bin Laden and his associates. Rossini was aware in January 2000 that two al-Qaeda members, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar, had valid US visas.
However, a CIA employee, Michael Anne Casey, stopped him from passing the information to FBI headquarters. Rossini knew that if he reported this information to his FBI colleagues he would be breaking the law. The two men turned out to be hijackers of American Airlines flight 77 on 9/11. [Wikipedia]
The Theory
“Rossini is convinced that the CIA, in an effort to get more information on al Qaeda, was trying to recruit al-Midhar or, less likely, his close associate, Nawaf al-Hazmi—in other words, to turn one or both of them into a source that would share the terror organization’s secrets.”
“Doing so on U.S. soil without consulting the FBI is prohibited. Bush counter-terrorism czar Richard Clarke, who was also kept in the dark, embraces the same theory.” [28pages.org]
Sudden change of Attitude
In August of 2001, the CIA suddenly called for a meeting with the FBI in New York. The Agency wanted the bureau’s help in tracking down al-Midhar and al-Hazmi. Too little, too late…

Thank you for continuing to care and never forget. The only logical explanation for the suppression of the CIR of Special Agent Douglas J. Miller, was to allow the Saudi Mabahith and the CIA to run a joint operation in the USA. For this op, the Mabahith was given authority too operate on USA soil and the FBI was willfully and purposely excluded by the CIA. Please read the attached document for more. Thank you. MarkT.
