Lockerbie — Who Is The Mysterious GOLFER? [Part I : Trust No One]

“If Lockerbie is Scotland’s Watergate then Golfer is our Deep Throat. Golfer is the ONLY eye witness to the planting, fabricating and corrupting of evidence. Potentially he is the whistle blower who could blast the whole official ship of lies out of the water.”

June 14 2019 — In the last edition of Lobster Magazine (77), Robin Ramsay offers his thoughts on the recent developments in the Lockerbie Case. In this piece, Ramsay recalls the story of the GOLFER and his identification by a group of investigative journalists. I can state categorically that this previous identification is erroneous. Considering the recent developments in the Lockerbie saga, I believe that the time has come to take a good look at the GOLFER’s story.  Follow us on Twitter: @INTEL_TODAY

In the last edition of Lobster Magazine (77), Robin Ramsay writes:

“By coincidence, on the same day as The Times piece I received a prompt to look at an 8 year-old piece on the Lockerbie plane bombing which is on Cryptome.

The article, ‘Policing Lockerbie, A Bella Caledonia Special Investigation’, is no longer on the Bella Caledonia site. Let us take this back a step.

In 2005 The Scotsman ran an article, ‘Police chief – Lockerbie evidence was faked’. This began:

‘A FORMER Scottish police chief has given lawyers a signed statement claiming that key evidence in the Lockerbie bombing trial was fabricated. The retired officer – of assistant chief constable rank or higher – has testified that the CIA planted the tiny fragment of circuit board crucial in convicting a Libyan for the 1989 mass murder of 270 people.’

The police officer was not named by The Scotsman. The Bella Caledonia article, however, did name him and it was a legal threat from his lawyer (also reproduced on Cryptome) which resulted in the article being taken off the Bella Caledonia site.”

On August 28 2005, the Scotsman newspaper [Police chief- Lockerbie evidence was faked] reported that the GOLFER was a former Scottish police officer of assistant chief constable rank or higher.

The author [Marcelo Mega is a freelance journalist working in the Edinburgh area] also stated that the officer was a member of the Association of Chief Police Officers Scotland.

In September 2011, the Bella Caledonia website claimed to have identified the GOLFER as Assistant Chief Constable Tom Halpin of Lothian & Borders Police.

I can state categorically that Tom Halpin is not the GOLFER.

According to the 2007 SCCRC [Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission] Press Release, the GOLFER is a former detective sergeant, who was involved in the police investigation into the bombing of PA103.

In a following post, I will provide the known facts regarding the GOLFER. I believe that these facts alone are sufficient to single out one former Scottish police officer.

Stay tuned!

  1. Allan croft says:

The person who planted the evidence who admitted on National Geographic channel who travels with a bag of aircraft parts in a suitcase was a FAA official Walter Kosgaurd who has worked on several aircraft crashes over the world with the same conclusion as the one before for example the DC10 that crashed in the African continent was so to have been blown up by a bomb in the forward cargo bay with a Toshiba bombeat radio as Thomas James Thurman found in the desert a tiny piece of circuit board belonging to the Toshiba bombeat radio after falling from 35,000 feet after just a few days of been on his hand and knees siveing the whole of the sarha desert sand then Bingo he finds a Toshiba bombeat radio circuit board that had held the Barometric pressure switch device that blow the aircraft up but when you look wher the nose landed from the rest of the aircraft a good 5miles short of the rest of the aircraft just like the Lockerbie crash.
